This course will provide 6 sample practice OSCE stations.

Each station will include:

  • Instructions regarding set up of the stations
  • List of materials needed
  • A clinical scenario
  • Questions for you to answer related to the scenario
  • An evaluation sheet for an evaluator of your choosing to use while watching you complete the station
  • Typical answers to some of the questions

The topics of the stations are:   Upper Extremity, AFO, Foot, Spinal (Scoliosis), Gait Analysis and Cranial (Plagiocephaly)

Also included in this course:

  • An introductory video titled “What is an OSCE station”
  • A video example of a Certified Orthotist completing a plagiocephaly OSCE station
  • An opportunity to participate in a live 90 minute online session with other candidates. Session will be moderated by a Certified Orthotist and will include only the candidates registered for this orthotic practice course.   A case study may be presented.  There will be no exam logistical information shared during this session.

This year, you will have unlimited access to this course until the end of 2024 or until the date of the Canadian Clinical Certification Exam, whichever is earlier.   The live session date will be announced once the Canadian certification exam dates have been finalized.  The live session is only available at the posted date and time.   This purchase is intended only for the use of one participant, and should not be shared.
